In the midst of the rapidly unfolding Fourth Industrial Revolution, innovation and technology transfer are increasingly asserting their pivotal role in creating new value, enhancing productivity, and strengthening national competitiveness. In addition to its core missions of education and research, the Center aspires to become a driving force in promoting technological application, fostering knowledge development, and accompanying enterprises on their innovation journey. In line with the spirit of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, the establishment of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT) is considered a strategic step towards realizing this role in practice.

Functions and Responsibilities

The Center is responsible for implementing science and technology activities of TDTU. In addition, it serves as a focal point for organizing, promoting and coordinating applied research, technology development, expert-enterprise connectivity, knowledge transfer, startup support and the creation of science and technology products for the benefit of society. The Center’s mission is to enhance the effectiveness of research, innovation and technology transfer across the University. This mission also includes playing a key role in building the University’s innovation ecosystem; creating research and development (R&D) capacity; and strengthening linkages among the University - Enterprises - Government - Society.
