Ton Duc Thang University Shares Experience in Applying Digital Technology in Higher Education at the People's Police University Conference
On October 27, 2025, the People's Police University successfully organized the scientific conference themed “Application of Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Transformation in Education and Training at the People's Police University.”

The conference was chaired by Associate Professor, Doctor, Major General Do Anh Tuan, Rector of the University, with the participation of representatives from the Board of Rectors of Police Academies and Universities, the Department A05 – Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, Ton Duc Thang University, as well as scientists, lecturers, and media agencies.

With its practical significance, the Conference received great attention and active participation from a large number of scientists, administrators, experts, and lecturers both within and outside the police force. The Organizing Committee selected 73 outstanding papers to be published in the Conference Proceedings.
During the program, delegates focused on analyzing and assessing the current situation, identifying challenges, difficulties, causes, and factors affecting the effectiveness of applying information technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation in the University’s education and training activities. At the same time, delegates actively shared practical experiences and innovative models that have been effectively implemented in various institutions.
Among them, representing Ton Duc Thang University, Dr. Duong Thi Thuy Van - Director of the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer presented a paper entitled “Application of Digital Technology in Higher Education - Some Practical Experiences at Ton Duc Thang University.”

In her presentation, Dr. Duong Thi Thuy Van shared the more than 15-year journey of comprehensive digital transformation at Ton Duc Thang University - one of the pioneering higher education institutions that has taken early, systematic, and persistent steps in its digital transformation strategy. Dr. Duong Thi Thuy Van emphasized: “Digital transformation in higher education is not only a trend but an inevitable requirement to improve training quality, enhance competitiveness, and affirm universities’ positions in the era of Industry 4.0.”
Through this sharing, Ton Duc Thang University offered practical perspectives and valuable experiences, further affirming its pioneering role in applying digital technology to higher education - aiming to improve training quality, foster innovation, and promote sustainable development.
