Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer Meets and Connects with BLOCK71 Vietnam

On November 4, 2025, the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT) had a working session with BLOCK71 Vietnam - one of the leading startup ecosystem hubs in the region, under the National University of Singapore (NUS Enterprise). BLOCK71 Vietnam serves as a global innovation space that connects businesses, investors, universities, and startup support organizations, thereby fostering the formation of sustainable innovation ecosystems. Currently, BLOCK71 has established its presence in several countries, including Singapore, Indonesia, the United States, China, and Vietnam.

During the meeting, representatives from BLOCK71 Vietnam introduced their strengths, operational scale, and diverse startup support programs, including UniVentures, AI Accelerate, and various incubation initiatives. BLOCK71 aims to accompany young founders, helping them connect with the global startup ecosystem, receive high-quality professional support, and transform breakthrough ideas into successful projects.

On the CITT side, the Center shared about its research capacity and the technology transfer potential of lecturers and students from Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). With a young, highly qualified human resource base and multidisciplinary research strengths, TDTU is actively implementing initiatives in line with Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, aiming to bring scientific and technological research results into practical application to serve the community and enterprises.

The meeting opened new directions for cooperation between BLOCK71 Vietnam and CITT in 2026, focusing on programs that support research, creativity, and idea development for students and lecturers. Through BLOCK71’s international expert network, including professionals from Singapore, both sides expect to expand opportunities for exchange and access to practical support resources for TDTU’s faculty members and students.
