Four Research Projects by Ton Duc Thang University Students Selected for the Final Round of the Euréka Student Scientific Research Award 2025
The Euréka Student Scientific Research Award is one of the most prestigious academic competitions for students nationwide, annually organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. The award aims to encourage students to enhance their research capabilities, creativity, and ability to apply science and technology to real-life contexts, contributing to the development of a generation of dynamic and innovative young people ready to serve society.

In 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) has four scientific research projects selected for the Final Round of the 27th Euréka Award. This remarkable achievement reflects the learning spirit, effort, and passion for scientific research among TDTU students.
The Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT) extends its congratulations to the projects shortlisted for the Final Round of the 27th Euréka Student Scientific Research Award 2025, including:
- Biology: Investigation of phytochemical contents, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities of fractions from Camellia quephongensis Hakoda et Ninh extract - Pham Minh Cuong, Trieu Anh Minh, Nguyen Vinh Quang.
- Resources and Environment: Research on developing oil absorbent material from coir pith combined with ZIF-8 - Vo Phi Vu, Dang Lam Cam Tien, Nguyen Quoc Phong.
- Culture and Arts: Determinants of travellers’ willingness to pay more for green travel products: A moderating effect of green perceived value - Le Chanh Tin, Le Thi Yen, Pham Thi Anh Thu.
- Culture and Arts: Research on shaping Phalaenopsis orchid modules from recycled nylon materials applied to the design of casual handbags - Tran Huynh Chau, Nguyen Khai Nghiem.
These projects demonstrate the continuous learning spirit, creativity, and perseverance of TDTU students. CITT believes that with their passion for science and the dedicated guidance of their lecturers, the research teams will continue to showcase their capabilities and confidently represent TDTU at the Euréka Student Scientific Research Award 2025, contributing to fostering a vibrant scientific research culture within the university.
